GCFAAA was fortunate to have Jen Wagner from the Animal Alliance of Georgia (https://www. animalallianceofgeorgia.org/) speak at our April 5 community meeting.
Animal Alliance of Georgia is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization, serving communities in Gwinnett and Barrow Counties, through both low-cost vaccine clinics, outreach events, and access to subsidized spay/neuter services. The website provides a detailed description of AAG’s mission, services, and availability.
What was most impressive was Jen’s discussion of the volunteer efforts involved in operating AAG and the challenges she and fellow volunteers encounter when working to deliver quality services and care to animals in need of better health and living standards. There are many animals (whether pets or not) that have benefited from the services AAG provides, and it’s a mission that continues thanks to dedicated efforts of people like Jen.
